Maturing the wines
Most of our wines are matured in vats to retain their potential for fruitiness and fresh flavours. Our Beaujolais and Beaujolais Villages are bottled in winter. For our Crus, bottling is in the spring following the harvest. The more structured cuvées will spend a few months on their lees, in oak barrels or in tuns. The wines gain in complexity while retaining the fruit of the Gamay grape. They are part of the assembly of our Présidente Marguerite Intense cuvée, as well as the Fleurilège cuvées.
