"La Chapelle des Bois" is one of the 13 named vineyards in the Fleurie appellation area.
Terroir
The subsoil is made up of granitic arena.
Grape variety : 100 % Gamay
Winemaking & Maturing
The vinification method used is called "Beaujolais Vinification" and includes semi-carbonic maceration. It is carried out under immediate and permanent temperature control and can vary from 7 to 15 days.
Maturing in stainless steel vats for around 8 months.
Tasting
A really pretty deep robe
the nose shows opennes, riche and fruity marked by notes of red fruits (strawberries)
Culinary Suggestions
Red meat, jugged hare, partridge with braised cabbage.
Coulommiers cheese.
Serving temperature
Serve at 16° C. It is worth leaving for a while before enjoying it, the cellaring potential is from 4 to 5 years.
