The Whole of Beaujolais is the triumph of Gamay. This black grape with its white juice, narrowly planted (10.000 plants pet hectare, i.e. one square meter for each plant) is severely pruned each year in the "Gobelet" shape.

With such a strict upbringing on the best mineral qualities which will come out during fermentation in the most sophisticated way.

The Fleurie hillsides, with their soils and delicate climate, are protected by the "Madone" which is also their symbol.

Among the Beaujolais "crus" the Fleurie wines, because of their flavour and natural distinction are sometimes called "the Queen of Beaujolais" to emphasize their delicate nobleness.

Established in 1927, The "Cave des Producteurs" in Fleurie got its own equipment for fermentation and wine-making only in 1932. Thus our "Cave" represents the oldest established "Cave" in the Beaujolais area.
